This blog contains information and details about presentations which I gave, Topics I chose and other things about it. 

PRESENTATIONS:-

This is my second experience of Presentation. So many things changed in this month, but we finally made it to the Sem 2. Of course, I made so many mistakes but it's better than before. I hope all the efforts which everyone is making or did it proves worthwhile in the end.

1 - PRESENTATION:-

๐ŸŒบ In my first presentation from the Paper 106: The Twentieth Century Literature: 1900 to World War II, Unit 4 - Poems: W. B. Yeats, I chose the topic Yeats' Religious Quest and 'Politics'.
๐ŸŒบ 'Politics' is indeed a specialty of Yeats but in this Presentation I also described about his Poem named 'Politics'.
๐ŸŒบ In first slide I gave topic of the presentation, from which paper I am going to discuss and place where I am going to present.
๐ŸŒบ In second slide I gave personal information like my full name, enrollment number, email ID, batch, date, subject code and roll number. I also attached a gif related to this slide.
๐ŸŒบ In third and fourth slide I gave the information about Poets Life and also cited from authentic sources.
๐ŸŒบ In fifth slide I gave the information about his writing style and in sixth slide I gave some examples of his Poems.
๐ŸŒบ In the seventh slide I gave information that what kind of relation Yeats have with Religion.
๐ŸŒบ In eighth slide I described that what kind of impact politics has on Yeats and than give the main Poem 'Politics'.
๐ŸŒบ In next slide I described the poem in detailed named 'Politics'.
๐ŸŒบ In next slide I gave all the citation which I used to make my argument strong in this Presentation.

๐ŸŒบ In my second presentation from the Paper 107: The Twentieth Century Literature: World War II to the End of the Century, Unit 2: George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four - 1984, I choose the topic Dystopian Verities.
๐ŸŒบ In first slide I gave topic of the presentation, from which paper I am going to discuss and place where I am going to present.
๐ŸŒบ In second slide I gave personal information like my full name, enrollment number, email ID, batch, date, subject code and roll number. I also attached a gif related to this slide.
๐ŸŒบ In third slide I gave information about what is Dystopia and also gives definition of it too.
๐ŸŒบIn fourth slide I describe various themes of Dystopia like Control, Power, Environmental Disaster, Loss of Individuality, Rebellion, Surveillance and Technology.
๐ŸŒบ In next slide I described how Dystopian Society also can be seen in the Video Games that we know or sometimes played too.
๐ŸŒบIn next three slide I briefly described how Dystopian Society or its elements can be found out in Anime and Music.

๐ŸŒบ In my third presentation from Paper 108: The American Literature, Unit 1 - Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey into Night, I choose the topic The Tragic Flaw in the Play 'Long Day's Journey into Night' by Eugene O’Neill.
๐ŸŒบ In first slide I gave topic of the presentation, from which paper I am going to discuss and place where I am going to present.
๐ŸŒบ In second slide I gave personal information like my full name, enrollment number, email ID, batch, date, subject code and roll number. I also attached a gif related to this slide.
๐ŸŒบIn third slide I gave information about writer named Eugene Gladstone O’Neill, about his father, mother, his siblings and their addictions.
๐ŸŒบFourth slide is about Eugene O’Neill’s Married Life.
๐ŸŒบFifth slide is about the text book named Long Day’s Journey into Night, about its publication, writer, characters, etc.
๐ŸŒบIn next slide I gave a short information about What is Tragic Flaw?, How it's affected the plot and how it's used in this text.
๐ŸŒบ In the next slide I also described how starting and ending also important to describe tragic flaw and catch up the eyes of the readers.
๐ŸŒบIn next slide I gave information that how Hamartia works and draw characters for their own Tragic fate.
๐ŸŒบIn the next slide I try to connect The Three Unities by Aristotle - Unity of Time, Unity of Place and Unity of Actions with the text and its plot.
๐ŸŒบ In the next slide I take a article related to Tragic flaw and this text by Dwight Macdonald and described his point of views.

๐ŸŒบ In my fourth presentation from Paper 109: Literary Theory & Criticism and Indian Aesthetics, Unit 3 - Rasa Theory, I choose the topic The Emotions That Literature Can Evoke: An Introduction to Rasa Theory.
๐ŸŒบ In first slide I gave topic of the presentation, from which paper I am going to discuss and place where I am going to present.
๐ŸŒบ In second slide I gave personal information like my full name, enrollment number, email ID, batch, date, subject code and roll number. I also attached a gif related to this slide.
๐ŸŒบIn my third slide I add something trendy at that time called Chat GPT. I asked GPT for some ideas and topics on that topic.
๐ŸŒบIn fourth and fifth slides I described that what is Rasa Theory and how its meaning differ by different person.
๐ŸŒบIn next two slides I described Eight Rasas by Bharatmuni and next slide I descried Ninth Rasa by Abhinavgupta.
๐ŸŒบIn next slide I gave some different examples from some texts.

๐ŸŒบ In my fifth and last presentation from Paper 110 A: History of English Literature - From 1900 to 2000Unit - 4: Drama – Absurd, Comedy of Menace, The Use of Non-Linear Narrative in Theater of the Absurd.
๐ŸŒบ In first slide I gave topic of the presentation, from which paper I am going to discuss and place where I am going to present.

๐ŸŒบIn fourth slide I gave idea about why I am presenting this topics and what is the need of Non-Linear Narrative.

๐ŸŒบIn next slide I described about Theater of the Absurd as a Non-Linear Narrative.
๐ŸŒบIn next two slides I give some information about Non-Linear Narrative in ‘Waiting for Godot’ by  Samuel Beckett and Non-Linear Narrative in ‘The Birthday Party’ by Harold Pinter.

  • Of course, I made so many mistakes in these presentations and sir gave us so many priceless instructions and points to improve it.
  • Do choose topics a little unique and different from usual and avoid topics for assignment and presentations like Themes, Symbols and common topics, of course, it's not necessary to avoid it but for better understanding of particular text it is beneficial for us.
  • If you choose a different topic for presentation do state why you choose that topic and the statement described in presentations for what purpose you stated.
  • If you choose unique topics and some things are off from the main topics, if it is for better understanding then it's okay but it should connect your topic a bit.
